Davide Ficco, né en 1962, a reçu un diplôme avec les honneurs en 1982 au Conservatoire d’Alessandria avec Guido Margaria et a complété son cursus d’éducation musicale au Conservatoire de Turin (1985). Il a mené des études avancées avec John Williams, José Tomàs, Betho Davezac, Jakob Lindbert, Oscar Ghiglia et Alain Meunier, obtenant une bourse de la CEE, deux diplômes du Mérite de la Chigiana Accademia de Sienne (1982-1993) et le titre de Guitar Performer à la Royal College of Music à Londres (1989). Récompensé dans des concours nationaux et internationaux en tant que soliste ou en groupes de chambre, il a collaboré avec le Contemporary Music Group et les Orchestres Symphoniques de la R.A.I. de Turin et de Milan, avec le Regio Theater de Turin, le Laboratorio Lirico de Alessandria, l’Orchestre Sinfonica Italiana et le Filarmonica ‘900. Il interprète de la musique moderne et contemporaine et a réalisé des enregistrements radiophoniques et télévisuels, y compris de nombreuses représentations en première mondiale. Il a enregistré pour les labels Naxos, Stradivarius, Tactus, Amadeus, GuitArt, Moisycos et Oliphant avec la musique des années 1900. En tant que compositeur, il a écrit de la musique pour guitare, publiée par Gendai Guitar à Tokyo et Carisch (Milano).
Davide Ficco, born in 1962 received a diploma with honors in 1982 at the Conservatory of Alessandria with Guido Margaria and completed the course in Music Education at the Turin Conservatory (1985). He conducted advanced studies with John Williams, José Tomàs, Betho Davezac, Jakob Lindbert, Oscar Ghiglia and Alain Meunier, obtaining a grant from the CEE, two Merit diplomas from the Chigiana Accademia of Siena (1982-1993) and title of Guitar Performer at the Royal College of Music in London (1989). Awarded in national and international competitions as soloist or in chamber groups he has collaborated with the Contemporary Music Group and the Symphonic Orchestras of the R.A.I. of Turin and Milan, with the Regio Theater of Turin, the Laboratorio Lirico of Alessandria, the Orchestra Sinfonica Italiana and the Filarmonica ‘900. He performs modern and contemporary music and has made radio and television recordings including many world premiere performances. He has recorded for the labels Naxos, Stradivarius, Tactus, Amadeus, GuitArt, Moisycos and Oliphant with music of the 1900’s. As a composer he has written music for guitar, published by Gendai Guitar in Tokyo and Carisch (Milano).
